International LGBTQI+ Solidarity !

Aim : To establish solidarity between Belgian organisations and LGBTQI+ Organisations or individuals in countries where LGBTQI+ rights are under pressure and/or not being respected.

Rainbowfriends: an international solidarity organisation !

In many countries, organising a Pride or an LGBTQI+ festival is difficult or impossible.

Many LGBTQI+ organisations abroad are under threat and in need of funds.

Rainbowfriends want to promote, facilitate and support exchanges with the organisers of these events.

The organisation of support and the solidarity of organisations with common goals are key!

Becoming a partner :

The Belgian organisation and partners abroad can establish a collaboration, possibly in one of the following ways:

Exchange of information and individuals between the organisations.

Financial support

Rainbow friends will act as a facilitator, research potential partners and establish contact between the two.

How ?

Direct support to Prides and LGBTQI+ festivals that ask for international solidarity.

Organise delegations to support these events on the ground.

Create partnerships between Belgian organisations and organisers of Prides or LGBTQI+ festivals abroad.

Provision of a delegation and/or financial support to Thessaloniki Pride 2019, to Istanbul Pride 2020 and Europride 2022 in Belgrade
